We are wine artisans: with our bottles we want to tell you the hills in which we are, Berici Hills, in the heart of Veneto.
THE TERRITORY:
THE BERICI HILLS.
Italy, Veneto, Vicenza, Berici Hills, Barbarano.
Our wines speak of our territory, of our old vineyards on the hills, of our native or traditional grape varieties: Garganega, Tai Rosso, Carmenere.
Only grapes and no compromise in order to have the marine sedimentary origin of our hills fully expressed into the glass.
WINE ARTISANS.
Everything is directly done by us!
We only use the grapes from our vineyards, harvesting them by hand in small boxes. In our cellar we turn them into wine and then we bottle them directly. A complete cycle to ensure that our wines also tell our story as well as that of the hills in which we find ourselves.
ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY.
The vitality of the soils and biodiversity in the vineyard are our goal. For this we carry out annual cover crops and spontaneous grassing. Minimum use of copper and sulfur and no type of herbicide or pesticide for an increasingly sustainable agriculture. Healthy grapes, harvested by hand, spontaneously fermented without any kind of addition in the cellar.
THE BOTTLE.
The conviviality of playing cards. The spirit of Veneto in a light glass bottle for environmental sustainability. Collematto means 'mad hill' because you have to be a little be crazy to propose a different idea of wine, always characterized by a great drinkability, with good acidity and moderate alcohol content.
